ASHLEY POND
In recent years Mead Construction, working for Ellwood Landscape Design, carried out the re-lining of Ashley Pond. The water level had slowly been dropping over time and needed urgent attention.
Our tasks involved organising the collection of the fish, draining the water, excavating the existing silt down to a suitable formation. We then installed a new clay lining, new overflow drainage, and formed a new pad foundation for the Steps.
When the lining work was completed the pond was re-filled, the fish were re-introduced, hand-rail installed, and a new landscaping scheme planted, ready for a successful handover to the client.
