Screened Chalk

Screened chalk can be used as an alternative to crushed concrete for making up road sub-bases or fill. If used correctly it can serve as an extremely cost effective alternative to conventional limestones or 6F2. This product is also widely used in lakes, reservoirs and ponds to add calcium to the water which aids plants and wildlife. It also serves to clarify the water and reduce the acidity. Typical application rate of 1 tonne per acre of water.
